Preston and the Early Church

Someday I will be able to fix the pictures, but at the moment my computer and I are not getting along. However, you should know that the Preston temple is beautiful and peaceful. The English know how to garden, and they worked wonders with the temple grounds.

The PP stands for Prince of Peace.

House where the Elders were attacked by demons the night before their first baptism in Preston.

These beautiful gardens were created in Preston during our civil war because they suddenly lost the cotton for their mills, so the city employed the people to build this park. It has several plaques commemorating work by the LDS missionaries here in Preston.

Obviously a work of modern art...

The river where the first English converts were baptised.
